Epon Golf introduces it's all new Utility Iron for 2008! The new AF-901 is for those looking for a versatile, easy to hit replacement for their long irons without sacrificing feel and playability. The AF-901 is a high strength one piece hollow forging made from soft S20C steel.
The forged body is matched with a high strength Asroll stainless steel face with COR over 0.80 that produces lively feel and high ball speeds on impact. The back cavity brings CG lower, making it eay to get the ball up in the air. CG is also placed closer towards the heel allowing the club head to rotate more easily.
The AF-901, with its wider sole is versatile and forgiving and designed to play from any lie, combining feel, control and performance in a clean looking package. Available with steel shafts from Shimada and Nippon as well as NGS Mach Line graphite shafts.
